Sharing?

Edited by funshine at 02-19-2024 20:57

I received a notification that a book I shared (PDF format) has been recycled based on a 'better copy being shared', and advised 'because it is epub'(I just downloaded the 'better copy' and went through it, it is exactly the same book!)

I actually have the epub version but shared the PDF as it's nice to have a choice for those that don't have all the latest technology on their preferred method of reading.I am very confused - I thought several format's were good to have onboard.

So if I understand right any books shared in PDF format will be replaced
It takes a lot of time sharing it is dissapointing when you see something recycled.Sigh..

Our rule is epub comes first than mobi and pdf.
If a book is shared in pdf and someone is sharing an epub, the pdf will be recycled.
If you want more choise of formats, you may upload different formats in one thread.
So one thread with multiple formats.

Very good question. I am glad this preference rule has been explained. Thank you
