They should have just stayed home...When college sophomore Harper makes the drive home to Lake George to spend Christmas with her sister and mom, she expects a quiet night of holiday movies and hot chocolate. She barely arrives before a massive snowstorm rolls in, trapping most of the locals inside their houses for the night. But when she finds out her younger sister Sophia still needs to bring her horse in from the pasture, she can’t possibly allow her to drive to the barn alone in the storm.
Against their mother’s best wishes, they face the terrible weather on Christmas Eve head on, and all the repercussions that come along with it. Christmas Eve should be calm and peaceful, but for Harper and Sophia, who become stranded in the negative degree temperatures, their night is anything but.
Stuck without an ounce of cell reception, the coyotes aren’t the most dangerous thing they’ll encounter in the woods. So the real question is, after facing endless obstacles, will they survive the night and live to see Christmas Day?
