When the body of a young woman is discovered in an East London park, DI Erica Swift and her Violent Crimes taskforce are called in to investigate. The victim appears to be uninjured, but symbols carved on her body tell of a more sinister story. The case is confusing, with question upon question mounting. Other than the symbols, why is there no obvious cause of death? How did she die? And what do the symbols mean? When Erica discovers that more lives are in danger, she finds herself in a race against the clock to track down the person responsible.
