No one expected vibrant, fun-loving Justine Emerald to pass away at fifty – least of all her three high school best friends. Their shock is compounded when they return home for her memorial and hear the request in Justine’s last will and to take one last trip together to spread her ashes.
Valerie, the most outgoing of the bunch, is all for it. Her once-promising country pop career died in the 90’s, and she has all the time in the world. Lisa is easily convinced, having just lost her job in less-than-ideal circumstances that she’d like to keep private. It’s Michelle who has the most doubts – she’s wary of spending so much time with her old friends, especially when dramatic Valerie is convinced Justine’s ex-husband had something to do with her death.
