I love taking my dog Maggie for a walk in the woods. The squirrels give Maggie a run for her money, and she gets her exercise in. But what do you do when you accidentally interrupt a murderer? It’s fall, and that means it’s time for tricks and treats and Halloween celebrations. When Rainey and her dog Maggie hear a gunshot in the woods, they investigate and find a body. Now Rainey is on the trail of a killer. The problem is, she doesn’t know if the killer saw her, and whether they’re on her trail, too. Rainey and her boyfriend, Detective Cade Starkey, are enjoying the season and drumming up excitement to catch a killer.
