Jackie Parker, a not-ready-to-retire baby boomer, is settling into the apartment above her family's business. She's looking to slow down the fast-paced life she's had as a globe-trotting photographer, by taking over Parker Photography on Main Street in Harmony.
When a body is found on the future site of The Hills Resort, rumors begin swirling about fraudulent financial dealings, underhanded protestors, and a love triangle gone wrong. Jackie is thrust into the middle of things to lend support to Kim Walters, a local realtor who discovered the body.
Things escalate when another body is found on the site of the resort's golf course. Is this a sign that the construction site is jinxed? Jackie's curiosity kicks into high gear with her discovery of a missing piece for the investigation. She calls on her amateur sleuthing abilities, and help from new friends, to solve the mystery.
