Everything is falling into place for Bronwen.

She has decided to pack up her life and make a new start in New Zealand. She has a lovely new home, a great new job, and she can’t get over how beautiful and relaxing this new country is.
Unfortunately her lawyer husband Jack has not taken to the move quite so well. Missing his past life and harbouring resentment over the move, he is starting to turn to drink.
When Bronwen’s enigmatic cousin, Marged - a woman with whom she has little in common - turns up things start to spiral out of control.
She learns that Jack was fired months ago from his firm, that he has abandoned his apartment in the city, and that most of her money is missing from her bank account.
