Since her encounter with the seer, Daphne continues dreamingabout destruction. Specifically, she sees a portal to another realm opening anda horrific creature crawling out. In her dreams, she can never see it in itsentirety. After a change of heart, Arabella starts assisting in the searchfor her daughter, along with Daphne, Matthew, and Dolly. She admits that theprocess pains her since she doesn’t want to discover that her daughter diedages ago, but she is willing to do so for Daphne and Matthew’s sake. Meanwhile, Daphne is still confused about the voicerecording she heard in Dalia’s possession. Something tells her that it’ssignificant. She decides to spend more time with John Fitzsimmons todiscover the truth. After all, he has connections and can help point her in theright direction. He loved Lucas, so he could help her with her search. Of course, Thomas isn’t a fan of the idea, and Daphne canonly hope the investigation doesn’t strain their relationship. A local real estate agent is found dead. Shadow Woods getsriled up at the news of another murder. Daphne takes her opportunity to get closer to theFitzsimmons family, knowing she’s walking a dangerous path in pursuit of thetruth. Will it all be worth it in the end?
