The Seven Day Storm Festival is on the horizon, and Fern hasbeen invited to cater the festivities. She and Jenny Mae are serious aboutfinding the right recipes and costumes to make the festival a hit for thebakery. Newman is excited because he’s entrusted to run the bakery while theyare working at the event. Gumbo is just hoping for lots of carrot cake andbacon.

What’s the problem? Well, the man who hired them to caterthe celebration is found dead. Nobody is going to shed any tears over the giantjerk. Still, once again, Fern is dropped into the middle of a murderinvestigation. Can Fern and friends solve the murder, or will she end up in akiller’s snare?
