I don’t under why romance doesn’t have its own section?

Oh I am so sorry for this misunderstanding Funshine and Azuredove....it was due to the fact that I only had nine options to use when I created the poll, I tried to lump as many "similar" genres together as possible, but in actual fact, the Romance genre is huge -  some members have already pointed out that erotica was not included, but neither were MM, Bondage & S&M, Lesbian and autoeroticism...which are all very popular at present. The best thing to do, I think, is to create more nuanced polls and further define each genre...maybe? Although I think Admin said it best in reply to one of my queries - post whatever you like (I guess if its not accepted it will be recycled). Im very sorry for any inconvenience.

Well, each genre is really just an umbrella because they all can be further categorized to become quite specific. And there is so much overlap between genres as well. It can be difficult to put a single book into just one category because if you asked five different people, they might choose five different categories! Overall, I thought the poll was fine--especially given the limitations in setting it up, but funshine also made a good point. I agree the best solution is Admin's reply: the more books, the better! And everyone is welcome here!

Too late but I like true crime books. I have not read in awhile but that was my favorite type of back years ago.
